Multi Color 0001–4096 Seven-Color Print Swatch Book
Multi Color 0001–4096 is a seven-color (CMYKOGV) print swatch book, commissioned by Kaoyian Printing. By adding orange, green, and violet to the standard four-color set, the system reaches a far wider gamut — able to reproduce vivid, saturated colors that ordinary CMYK simply can't hit, bringing printed results much closer to what we see on screen. The real challenge lived beneath the plain surface. As a first venture into seven-color printing, there was no existing reference for how each color should step and differ from the next. We spent a long time defining those intervals — testing how the seven inks mix and overlap in practice — until the system resolved into a precise library of 4,096 colors. Each shade was printed on both coated and uncoated stock, so designers can trust exactly how a color will look on real paper.
